An Army helicopter during its training flight on Tuesday made a “precautionary landing” at a ground near Balesar in Jodhpur district around 2 pm. All pilots (number yet to be confirmed) are safe, and a second chopper arrived to assist the first one, Defense PRO Lt Col Manish Ojha said here.The training chopper was on way from Jodhpur to Jaisalmer when the pilots observed a warning indicator. “Emergency landing is different from precautionary landing as the pilot finds an initial warning indicator active and decides to land at a suitable place. In this case no emergency procedure had to be invoked”, the sources said.
