BRIG R VINAYAK WRITES IN WHATS APP MESSAGE TO VETERANS
It is a pity Veterans are obsessed with Maj Gen Satbir about JM. Yes he did lead the vocal charge from JM and war cries of Veterans blared at South Block to force Government to announce formally the grant of OROP to us (with certain shortcomings) in Sep ’15 Government also kept a window open for ESM to address their genuine grievances on the anomalies in OROP announced by constituting the OMJC. That was the time to make an honourable exit from JM maintaining cordiality with the Government. Instead Maj Gen Satbir chose get exploited by political opponents of the ruling dispensation beginning with press conference with Ram Jethmalani followed by plunge into political slush in Bihar election, giving stage to Arvind Khejriwal at JM, Punjab election and so on.
Obviously the Government reacted by ignoring Maj Gen Satbir and excluded him in all discussions chaired by RM.
At the end as expected Maj Gen Satbir has been dumped by even Capt Amrender Singh of Congress.
So what has been achieved by continuance at JM – “धोबी का कुत्ता,न घर का न घाट का”.
Maj Gen Satbir has let down the ESM fraternity by losing face. A voice going into deaf ears is of no use.
Those who chant for JM continuance remind me of the Aazadi Brigade.
At least I am convinced that Maj Gen Satbir who I had great respect for has been a great let down.
Looking at the desperate and dirty fight for IESM Election to be conducted under Court orders is unfortunate.
MAJ GEN SPS GREWAL RESPONSE TO ABOVE MESSAGE
Capt Amarinder Singh didn’t exploit Maj Gen Satbir who begged everyone around to arrange his meetings with him.
He didn’t dump him.
The points he discussed with CM were already part of manifesto and the same are in various stages of implementation.
So there is no need to unnecessary build larger than life image.
JM must be vacated immediately if we want our ESM not to suffer any further.
I as member of IESM want more rational leader to lead us.

Ex-SERVICEMEN WELFARE POINTS INCLUDED IN ELECTION MANIFESTO OF PUNJAB CONGRESS IN MONTH OF DEC2016 ITSELF
There were 24 Points which were discussed in detail at Congress Bhawan in Chandiagrh .The Hard Copy of Points about ESM welfare was handed over to S.Manpreet Badal in month of Oct 2016 by Col CJS Khera ,Gen Sect Sanjha Morcha.
