In the office of the Army Chief. the iconic image of the Pakistan Army surrendering at Dhaka on 16th December 1971 has been replaced by a supposedly mythical picture of tanks on the banks of the Pangong Tso overseen by seers and birds.
I hope those at the helm of affairs are aware that Bangladesh, 1971 is the only strategic victory this nation has won in 10 centuries. No mythology can replace such a feat of arms.
