List of Names Attached.

We shall Remember them From the RISING of the SUN to the SETTING For EVER.

All this was possible due to Well Led by the Officers from the FRONT and Highly Motivated THAMBIES.

The Leadership at all Level was of a Very High Order.

The OUTFLANKING with ARMOUR Ensured SPEED
and SURPRISE was Achieved by ATTACKING during NIGHT from UNEXPECTED APPROACH while a Small Force Contained them from the FRONT.

The PAKISTAN Army made a mistake of placing Unjustifiable and Unshaken Faith in holding us at well Stocked Defended Areas along Main Approaches to their Town / Cities.

Once Outflanked ,they did not React in Time and were very Slow in Moving their Troops.

As Confirmed by POWs We were Always ONE DAY Ahead of their MOVES .

Our Success in this Short War was due to

  • Bold and Aggressive
    Junior Leadership
  • Tremendous Zeal of
    THAMBIES
    -The Physical Fitness
    of All Ranks To
    March Long
    Distances by Day and
    Night With Full
    Combat Load.

PROVIDED TACTICAL MOBILITY of High Order over the Battlefield.

God Bless Rest and Peace To Our Brave THAMBIES in HEAVEN, Who Gave Their TODAY For “STRIKING SIX” HONOUR AND GLORY.
