Good News*

Important info especially for those AEC Offrs who are posted in Fmn HQs. After realising the problem/difficulties face by our def pers, while approaching *Kendriya Vidyalayas for admission of their wards, a proposal was initiated by OSD(Def) for  additional seats  only for Def Pers in all KVs*.

After approval from Min of HRDC, KVS HQ has issued letter for increase of class strength to accommodate eligible def wards only.

The  *Principal can now admit the ward of def pers upto class strength of 50 per section*  (which was earlier 45 only  i.e. 5 additional seats in each section and in all classes)at par with KV  *TC issued by any Govt/Pvt CBSE school*, who have been transferred during the current academic session after the admission process is over. These five admission will be granted on *First cum first serve*  basis.  *Last date for such admission will be 30 Sep 2018.*

Second importent info which most of the *def pers are unaware is that  when def pers is transferred to new stn then  *TC issued by any defence run schools i.e. APS, Air Force, Navy & even Paramilitary run Schools  are treated at par with KV TC under special provision of admission*  . In case of posting to non family stn, then ward can get admission in KV wherever indl is keepin his family under this provision. Same way, Person superannuating from service can get admission of their wards in KV to a place of their permanent settlement post retirement.
