Sepoy Kishori Lal, who slipped to death while patrolling the Line of Control in the Machil sector of Kupwara district on Saturday, was cremated with full military honours in his native Drabshallah village of Kishtwar district today.The slain soldier had joined the 175 Engineer Regiment of the Territorial Army two years ago. A wreath-laying ceremony was held today to pay tributes to the slain soldier. Wreaths were laid on behalf of the Chief of Army Staff, GOC-in-C, Northern Command, General Officer Commanding, White Knight Corps, and GOC, Delta Force, in the presence of the Commander, Rashtriya Rifles, Kishtwar,  and Senior Superintendent of Police, Kishtwar, Sandeep Kumar Wazir.Chants of Bharat Mata Ki Jai rented the air as hundreds of people gathered in the village to pay their last respects to the martyr. — OC
