Jammu, March 13

The Rashtriya Rifles Battalion, Banihal, under Delta Force, completed the construction of a pipeline for water supply and storage, at Government Middle School, Darpura. It also completed a 60-feet drainage channel at Karawa (Banihal) in Ramban district. The projects were handed over to the school authorities at a small ceremony here today.The projects were initiated to improve basic amenities for the people of Darpura and Karawa villages at their request. These will help to fulfill water requirements and benefit nearly 1,200 villagers. The civil authorities and villagers appreciated the noble gesture by the Army for understanding the concerns of villagers and working for their welfare. — TNS
