A day after an NIA team searched his house in connection with the Pathankot air base attack, Punjab Police senior officer Salwinder Singh visited his house located at Chowk Jai Singh area here today.He was brought to his house in tight security by the Border Security Force (BSF). He was seen interacting with some neighbours in the morning, but later he confined himself to his house and did not meet anyone. His visit was kept a secret. The Central forces did not inform even the local police about it. The NIA is probing his alleged role in the recent Pathankot air base terrorist attack.Yesterday, a four-member team of the NIA searched his house for six hours. The team members also questioned his family members during the operation. Separate teams also conducted raids at the residences of his accomplices — jeweller Rajesh Verma and a cook in the Gurdaspur area. Salwinder’s family has not been interacting with anyone ever since the NIA began probe.
